My Birth 

 My Mom was admitted into the hospital on May 2nd and confined to bedrest. After about eight days my Mom wasn't doing to well so the doctors decided it was time to induce labor at 1:00 in the morning. My Grandparents from my Mom's side had arrived for the big event. Two months early from my due date(July 10th), I was born at 9:28 a.m., on May 11th, 1995. I weighed only 3 lb.. 11 oz. and was 17.75 inches long. Not very long after I was born, Dr. Hodges took me to NICU to begin my long journey of growing. Even though I was so early and so little, I still received a score 9.9 on the Apgar scale, and I was healthy. I had to stay in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville, TN from May 11th until June 8th, 1995. My Mom came to visit me every day. By the time it was time for me to go home, I weighed 5 lb.

Infancy/Toddler (0-4)

Stories I’ve been told that I did/liked

My parents tell me that I have always liked to dress up in Halloween costumes even when it was no where close to Halloween. Some of my costumes were Tiger, Power Rangers, Batman, Superman, Peter Pan, and Ninjas. My favorite costume was my Ninja costumes, and yes I had more than just one. They were my favorite because I got to use a sword or other type of weapon. I loved swords when I was young. I have a collection at my house and my grandparents house. 

Favorite activities

When I was a toddler, I loved to play with anything that had to deal with music. I had a keyboard, harmonica, maracas, many recorders, drums, my own guitar, and a violin(half size). I also love for my parents to read me stories every night. I was very attached to any type of stuffed animal. I watched all the usual type of toddler shows and made many friends in preschool that I still keep in touch with. I enjoyed my toddler years of 'Bambi" and "Batman" but we all grow up as we must.  

Elementary Years (k-5)

 Favorite subject or teacher in school

My favorite subject in school is science because it explains the world in facts and in logical way. For me learning science is learning my surroundings and how it all works. I enjoy all the labs and experiments that we do, because I learn better with visual and interactive learning strategies.

Favorite activities in or after school

In Elementary School I played baseball, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, and took karate classes. These were the years of trying out new things and seeing which activities I was good at and enjoyed and which ones I were not so successful. I started AYSO Soccer in Kindergarden and continued that until 6th grade. I have been on the Kingston Swim Team for as long as I can remember. My mom was the coach for a few year when she was pregnant with me and for a few more after I was born, so she was determined to keep me on the team as long as she could. In third grade, I tried out for baseball. I enjoyed my only year of baseball but decided I preferred soccer much more. I wasn't very good at baseball; the first practice, I would always throw the ball backwards when trying to get it to my teammate. I started karate in BLANK GRADE. My teacher was Mr. Robinet, and he would push us very hard. I remember having to do the splits and break wooden blocks with my hands. I only took karate for about a year and made it to the rank of an orange belt.

Middle School (6-8)

Good Times

I started participating in my church's youth group(Kingston United Methodist) in 6th grade and am still currently a member. I have been going to youth for 4 years and enjoy all the amazing opratunites it allows kids. We get to do all sorts of community service, fundraising, and of course playing and having a good time. We are taught more about Christianity, the Bible, and how to behave and act as a Christian. 

Favorite activities in or after school

I was part of many activities in middle school. I was on the track and cross-country team. I played on the middle school soccer team. I was in the band and Student Government Association. I was also a member of beta club and was a tutor for elementary student in the afternoons.   

Organizations I'm in

I am part of the Kingston United Methodist/Bethal Presbyterian Church Youth Group. Our church youth groups combined when the Bethal Presbyterian Church had a major construction and needed a place to continue worship. Kingston United Methodist, being right across from Bethal, offed combined service and worship. This was a great thing for our youth group, because this doubled our group allowing us to do more activities that require a larger group. Since the than, the construction has finished, and everyone is back to there original church buildings. Fortunately, the youth group decided to stay as one. Our youth group has accomplished many things(ex: mission trips, food drives, bake sells, salvation army, etc.),but there is still much more to be done. I enjoy taking part in my youth group for an experience of fun,learning,service, and worship.

Sports/Activities Enjoy

My main sport that I play year around competitively is soccer. I play on a club team in Knoxville, TN year around called "FC Alliance"(FC stands for Futball Club). I play with a different group of friends from the friend I have at school which helps us as a team stay focused and not goof off. We travel around Tennessee mostly but will occasionally go to places like Greenville, SC or Atlanta, GA. I enjoy the travel, but we mainly focus on winning state games. Soccer is important to me, because it's what keeps me fit and brings me joy. My family do a great job at supporting me in all the travel and commitment. The Summer of 2009, I was fortunate enough to take a trip with my team to England. We when to Manchester Soccer School and participated in the annual Welsh International Tournament. This was the an amazing experience. I learned a lot more about the game of soccer and also about another nation.

My favorite hobbies and activities

My friends and I make lots of video that we put on youtube all the time. We do it just for fun to be silly and see how many views we can get. I really enjoy watching all the bloopers in the end. My friends are normally the characters ,and I am the camera man. Occasionally I might star in a few films and those tend to be some of the better ones :'). Regardless of weather or not I'm in the movie, I'm always the one who edits them. I enjoy computer and like editing because I can be creative with my films, like an artist and his paintings. I also enjoy other small games like foosball, ping-pong, and tennis. I play the trombone in the band and participate in band clinics such as ETSB & OA.
